What we will need from you:
Detailed employment information and description of income and assets. We can quote you an accurate interest rate that will stick through to the closing table
if we know everything about your situation up front. Don’t be afraid to “tell it like it is.” This makes it possible for us to “tell it like it is.”
The following items are most often what is needed. Please don’t hesitate to tell is if you don’t have these items or need a no income verifying loan. We work with all doc types.
You will need the following documents:
- Last 2 years w2’s
- Most recent pay stub
- If self employed…last 2 years tax returns
- Most recent bank statement (2 months if you’re applying for a purchase transaction)
- Most 401K or other investment statements
(Please ask your loan originator if you have other sources of income or assets that are not specifically listed above)
If under contract:
- A fully executed purchase and sales agreement
- A copy of your earnest money check (we may request additional information about where this money specifically came from)
If a refinance:
- A copy of your most recent mortgage statement
- A most recent tax and insurance bill
- A copy of your deed if you have it
If applicable:
- VA Certificate of Eligibility
- Bankruptcy discharge papers
- A copy of the HUD if you’re selling your home
